Aunque para muchos no son nada apetitosas, las mollejas de pollo tienen muchos beneficios para la salud, por lo que sería una gran idea incorporarlas a tu dieta.


De acuerdo con diversas tablas nutricionales, las mollejas de pollo son ricas en Vitamina B12, Vitamina A, Vitamina B9 y Vitamina B3. Recuerda que las vitaminas son esenciales para el cuerpo humano, pues de ellas depende el buen funcionamiento celular y el desarrollo.

La Vitamina B12 ayuda en la formación de glóbulos rojos y al mantenimiento del sistema nervioso central, por lo que esta vitamina es esencial para cualquier persona. En el caso de la Vitamina A, esta ayuda al buen funcionamiento del corazón, los pulmones y los riñones.

Por otro lado, la Vitamina B9, también conocida como ácido fólico, es necesaria para la producción de glóbulos rojos y la síntesis del ADN, por eso es importante que incluyas alimentos ricos en ácido fólico en tu dieta diaria.

Por su parte, la Vitamina B3 es muy importante para mantenerte sano, pues juega un rol esencial para que las enzimas funcionen de manera correcta. Además, gracias a esta vitamina, los nervios y el aparato digestivo se mantienen sanos.


Los minerales son nutrientes muy importantes para el cuerpo humano, los cuales se obtienen a través de tu dieta. En el caso de las mollejas de pollo, estas contienen potasio, fósforo y sodio.

Por un lado, el potasio es un mineral que ayuda a la correcta función de los nervios, la contracción de los músculos y a que el ritmo cardiaco sea constante. Mientras que en el caso del fósforo, este es indispensable para la reparación de células y tejidos.

Por otro lado, aunque no se recomienda consumir sodio en exceso, es importante que las personas consuman una pequeña cantidad para mantenerse sanos.

Otros de los beneficios de las mollejas de pollo es que son una buena fuente de proteína y no contienen carbohidratos ni azúcar, aunque es importante mencionar que sí contienen un pequeño porcentaje de grasa y colesterol.
